Rural Edge Actors

Rural Edge Actors consist of two youth theatre groups. The first is for young people in Key Stage 3 at school; while the other is for Key Stage 4. Both groups meet on a Tuesday; With Key Stage 3 from 5-6pm and Key Stage 5 from 6:30-8pm. The sessions consist of workshops and devising and rehearsing performances to be showcased in the local area. This group developed from the original south Copeland Youth Theatre.

Both groups have worked on numerous projects and continue to do so. Such projects include a short film entitled “The Missing” in partnership with Mediabox and Shoreline Films; a music video; and theatre performances at Keswick Theatre By The Lake. Currently, the Rural Edge Actors are working on two projects. The older group are currently working ton a sketch show!!

The younger group are working on Improvisation.
